I. Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection and Methodology

Linez ("the Application") is committed to data minimization. We collect only the data strictly necessary for the core functionality of calculating real-time venue capacity and wait times.

• Location and Hardware Sensors: To verify presence within a venue, the Application utilizes GPS geolocation, magnetometer (local magnetic fields), barometer (altitude), and environmental noise monitoring.
• Acoustic Privacy: Microphone data is processed exclusively on the local device to measure ambient decibel levels. No audio recordings are generated, transmitted, or stored on our servers.
• User-Generated Content: We store photos, text reports, and wait-time estimations actively submitted by the user.

2. Ephemeral Data Architecture

To ensure maximum user privacy, the Application operates on a "Strict Deletion" protocol tied to venue operating hours:

• Visual assets and user posts are purged from active servers immediately upon the official closing time of the tagged venue.
• Historical location logs are not maintained. Wait-time data is overwritten by the most recent submission to ensure accuracy and limit data retention.

3. Third-Party Disclosures

Backend services are facilitated via Supabase (Authentication/Database) and Mapping APIs. We do not sell, lease, or trade personal data to third-party data brokers.

II. Terms of Service

1. Binding Agreement

Accessing or utilizing the Linez application constitutes a formal agreement to these Terms of Service. If you do not consent to these terms, you are prohibited from using the Application.

2. Content Moderation and Zero-Tolerance Policy

Linez maintains a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding objectionable content. Users are prohibited from posting defamatory, illegal, harassing, or sexually explicit material.

• Reporting: Users may flag content or block abusive users at any time via in-app controls.
• Enforcement: Administrators will review flagged content within a 24-hour window. Violations will result in permanent account termination and content removal.

3. Limitation of Liability

The Application provides user-generated estimates for informational purposes only. Linez does not endorse alcohol consumption and assumes no liability for inaccurate wait times, personal safety incidents, or legal consequences arising from user actions at venues.

4. Intellectual Property

The design, source code, and original algorithms of Linez are the exclusive property of Linez and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
